HEALTH INNOVATION BOLTON

We are creating the UK’s first-ever Public Health Innovation Zone – known as Health Innovation Bolton (HIB) - to support the people in the North of Greater Manchester to live healthier, happier lives.

Through a committed and experienced public-private partnership encompassing public health bodies, Government agencies and regeneration specialists and with over 800 acres of land, we want to create a range of new health innovation employment spaces plus a new residential neighbourhood and community facilities that places wellness and preventative medicine at their centre. HIB will support wellbeing and positive health outcomes, creating high quality skills and training opportunities for local people and supporting the provision of new models of health and social care across Bolton and Greater Manchester.
